[SocBiN] Bioinformatics/AI related doctoral student positions

The EU funded GenomMed (Genetics and Mechanisms in Translational Medicine) doctoral program has a call open for 12 doctoral student positions at the University of Eastern Finland (Kuopio, Finland).

My group is offering following BIOINFORMATICS/AI related research topics in the program:

1. Integrative analysis of neurodegenerative diseases
2. Artificial Intelligence (AI) based drug-target and biomarker discovery

I am looking for motivated people with background in bioinformatics, data science, statistics, computer science and/or machine learning who are interested in pursuing a doctoral degree.

Eligibility requirements follow EU guidelines, including: should not have resided in Finland for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to recruitment, and should not possess a doctoral degree/and should not have over 4 years of research experience since master's degree.
