[SocBiN] Two postdoctoral/senior researchers at Bioinformatics Unit, Turku Centre for Biotechnology

Two positions for a postdoctoral/senior researcher are available in the Computational Biomedicine group at the Bioinformatics Unit, Turku Centre for Biotechnology for a two-year period starting from 1.11.2017. The starting date is negotiable.

One position is available in the ERC project DynaOmics of Dr. Elo, focusing on the modelling of longitudinal proteomics data (From longitudinal proteomics to dynamic individualized diagnostics; http://cordis.europa.eu/project/rcn/203223_en.html).

The other position is available in the Academy of Finland project of Dr. Elo, focusing on other levels of high-dimensional molecular and clinical data (Boosting personalized prediction of disease and treatment risks). In that project, especially expertise in genomics is considered a strength.

The postdoctoral/senior researcher has the opportunity to target the research according to his/her own research interests within the projects running at the  Bioinformatics Unit and to lead a small team within the Unit.

We are looking for highly motivated scientists with expertise in bioinformatics, biostatistics, proteomics, machine learning and/or genomics. The application deadline is 9.10.2017. Please fin more information at www.utu.fi/careers.
