Dear students, supervisors and mentors.

We are now taking the plunge into the new digital ISP. This means that as of today we will only accept study-plans entered through the web-interface into the new database.

We have prepared most upcoming study-plans and will launch them for the collaboration phase gradually during this week, starting today. The system is new, and we are beginners using it, as we have pointed out in our introduction seminars. Therefore we might experience some unexpected hick-ups for which we apologize in advance.

When we push the button to initiate the collaboration-phase you should receive an e-mail which alert you to this containing a direct link to the ISP. So if you know that the latest ISP you have handed in is older than 9 months, and if you have not received this prompting e-mail by next Monday please get in contact with us to clarify the situation.

You can also find the ISP by logging in at disp.su.se
A link to that site, and the updated pdf with instructions for how to complete the ISP is available at
https://www.fysik.su.se/internt/råd-och-stöd/stöd-till-lärare/utbildning-på-forskarnivå where you will also find the templates for the Covid-appendix and the appendix where the supervisor relates activities to the examination goals.

This system has a feature which is worth pointing out: towards the end of the collaboration phase you should all sign the ISP before sending it for "Granskning", where I will check that all formalities are met. But to ensure that everyone signs an identical copy any change to what is in the ISP will cause previous signatures to become invalid. Thus if for instance the supervisor has signed, but the student discovers and corrects a typo befor signing off the signature of the supervisor is no longer valid and has to be remade. Therefore - talk to each other, such that you agree when it is time to start signing off.

If there are questions or problems please get in touch with Sten who will try to help, but also to collect issues to be forwarded to the development team.
